James Sinclair Chardonnay

16 99 ea

Awarded 95 points and a Gold medal in the New World Wine Awards. The James Sinclair label in the Saint Clair portfolio recognises one of Marlborough’s earliest settlers and the man credited with founding Blenheim. These grapes come from the Awatere Valley, which runs parallel and is slightly south east of Marlborough's Wairau Valley. Slightly cooler and drier than Wairau, the wine has a distinct flinty minerality and crisp acidity. Gorgeous aromas of golden peach, vanilla and flavours of creamy nougat. Rich concentrated and textural with an almost silky finish, a versatile food matching wine.
